Music. Ideas.
Independence.

Revolution.Rocks is a two-day event on Belgrade's legendary floating nightclub, Zappa Barka. Night one is all music: six acts from around the world tearing up a stage on the Danube. Day two goes deeper, with panels, conversations, and workshops exploring how technology is putting power back in the hands of artists and creators.

"This isn't a tech conference with background music."

It's a music event built on ideas worth spreading. Whether you're here for the bands, the bitcoin, or the Belgrade summer, you're welcome. The first event of its kind in Serbia.

The Lineup
★ Headliner
Scardust
Progressive Symphonic Metal
Israel
Cinematic orchestration, virtuosic vocals, and a fearless approach to progressive metal. Led by Noa Gruman, whose range spans operatic purity to guttural growls, Scardust has shared stages with Symphony X, Epica, and Blind Guardian, and packed arenas at Wacken Open Air. Their 2025 album Souls features collaborations with musicians from Haken and Subway to Sally. Noa also led Sabaton's Legendary Orchestra across European arenas. This is the heaviest act on the bill.

JENNER is a heavy/thrash metal band from Belgrade, formed in late 2013. The current lineup consists of Aleksandra Stamenković (a.k.a. Alexandra Lioness) on guitar and vocals, Anja Mirković on bass guitar, and Marija Dragićević on drums. They have released 3 studio records: the album To Live is to Suffer (INFERNO Records, 2017; reissued by Fighter Records, 2022), the EP The Test of Time (INFERNO Records, 2020), and the latest album Prove Them Wrong (Fighter Records, 2024) which achieved major success, receiving excellent reviews from both music critics and audiences and being named Album of the Year for 2024 on several music websites.

Over the years, the band has performed at numerous festivals across Europe. Among their most notable shows are their appearance on the main stage of Exit Festival 2023, opening for Epica, as well as their performance at Zurbarán Rock Fest in Spain, where they played before Crashdïet and Sonata Arctica. Today, they continue to perform and release music, representing one of the most notable metal bands from Serbia.

Gospel Trash · Rock · Punk
Southend-on-Sea, UK
A raw, rebellious force fusing rock, folk, punk, hip-hop, and brass into something called "Gospel Trash." He's supported The Who at Hyde Park, played Glastonbury, and once brought a 25-piece gospel choir to a festival headline set. Heavy beats, big guitars, cinematic lyrics, unapologetic honesty.

Joe Martin
Joe Martin
Americana · Folk · Singer-Songwriter
Lancashire, UK
A modern-day troubadour whose lyrics play out like short films. He's performed at Nashville's Bluebird Cafe, been praised by the New York Times, and is one of the most vocal advocates for the value-for-value model, earning multiples of what traditional streaming ever paid him.

The Higher Low
Acoustic Pleb Rock
Finland
A one-person DIY project making catchy acoustic rock inspired by freedom in the digital age, without ever using the word "bitcoin" in the songs. Created by the singer of Finnish punk band Fumble. Short, punchy tunes about sovereignty and hope that any campfire rock fan can love.

Zappa Barka

Zappa Barka is one of Belgrade's most iconic splavovi, the legendary floating river clubs that define the city's nightlife. A decorated barge on the Danube near the Nebojša Tower, its exterior is covered in hand-painted murals of Frank Zappa, Elvis Presley, Billy Idol, and more. Inside, it's an intimate, high-energy live music venue that hosts international acts year-round.

Belgrade in June means warm nights, long evenings, incredible food, a world-class nightlife scene, and some of the most welcoming people you'll meet anywhere. It's also far more affordable than Western European cities. If you're coming from abroad, extend your stay. You won't regret it.

It's impossible to miss, and impossible to forget.

Value For Value

Most musicians make a fraction of a penny per stream. Revolution.Rocks is built around a different idea: what if fans could pay artists directly, instantly, from anywhere, with no middleman?

01
You Listen Free
Both days are live-streamed on Tunestr. No paywall, no subscription. Watch from anywhere in the world.
02
You Decide the Value
If you find value in what you hear, send whatever feels right. Any amount. Directly to the artist. No platform cut, no minimum fee.
03
Lightning Makes It Work
Payments are bitcoin micropayments ("sats") sent over the Lightning Network. Instant, global, and near-zero cost. That's what makes small, direct payments to artists actually possible.
Can't Make It? Watch Live.
Both days will be live-streamed on Tunestr and other platforms. Stream for free. Support artists by sending sats in real time as they perform. Value for value in action.

FAQ
What is Revolution.Rocks? +
A two-day music and culture event in Belgrade, Serbia. Friday night is a live music showcase with six international acts on a floating nightclub on the Danube. Saturday is panels, conversations, and networking about the future of music and creator independence, followed by an after-party.
Do I need to know anything about bitcoin? +
Not at all. Friday is a straight-up concert. Saturday's panels cover all levels, including complete beginners. You'll learn as much or as little as you want. The music comes first.
Can I pay for my ticket with a credit card? +
Yes. We accept both bitcoin (via Lightning Network) and traditional card payments. Tickets are €21 for the full two-day festival. Your money, your choice. That's kind of the whole point.
What is "value for value"? +
A model where content is shared freely and audiences voluntarily pay what they feel the experience was worth, directly to the creator, with no middleman. The Lightning Network makes this possible by enabling instant micropayments with near-zero fees.
Can I watch the live stream if I can't attend? +
Yes. Both days will be live-streamed on Tunestr and other platforms. You can watch for free and support artists by sending sats during the performances.
I'm coming from abroad. Any travel tips? +
Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport (BEG) is served by major European carriers and budget airlines. The city centre is about 20 minutes by taxi. Stari Grad, Dorćol, and Savamala are great neighbourhoods to stay in, all walkable to the venue. Belgrade in June is warm, affordable, and the nightlife is legendary. Extend your stay if you can.
How can I get involved? +
We're looking for sponsors, volunteers, and marketplace vendors. Drop us a line. We'd love to hear from you.
